GP Bahrain: Carlos Sainz: “I would Say that we’ve done the homework”

Toro Rosso continues in its spiral of positivity. Despite a Great Prize complicated and quite tense in Australia, the car remains one of the best of the grill, and that full of optimism to its two pilots. The spaniard Carlos Sainz started out well enough, with the seventh best time of the afternoon, although at night we could only manage 13th.

Even so, the driver from madrid has stated that today “it has been a good day, everything has gone quite smooth for us. we have Not had any problems and we enjoyed some clean air, something very important on a Friday. In general, I’m happy with my day. On the track, we have seen different strategies of tyres, so that it is very difficult to compare ourselves with others, but I would say that we’ve done the homework, and we expect to do well the rest of the order semana”.

Max Verstappen followed the opposite path. The pilot Dutch he was eighth in the first free, and has dramatically improved in the second, getting the fourth best lap. After burying in the day yesterday his controversy with his team-mate, Max hopes to get the most out of Bahrain: “A good start to the weekend. Of course, there are still things to improve, but it has definitely been a good day. We had no problems and we have had plenty of time on the track, so that is very positive”.

“The car is going well now, but I am cautious, we try to keep our feet on the ground, because we do not know what the others do. Things seem to go well in Bahrain, but we need to continue to improve, because others will do it also”.
