Jenson Button has completed an excellent qualifying session, going into Q3 and ending up ninth after an intense duel with the Williams. The pilot of McLaren has enjoyed a lot about the Spa circuit, achieving a lap that, according to himself, has been as good as the one that earned him the -pole position in 2012 on this same path.

“it Was everything good that could go. I always go very well here,
lap of Q2 was as good as my pole 2012. It’s definitely not
expected to rank ninth here. In the last race we were
eleventh or twelfth in a circuit that fits much better. As well
to get here, and make the ninth in a circuit that is very difficult
for us -last year we were a second behind
all – it is a good progress and should be happy with that.”
, ” says the british pilot, who, unlike his companion, he has not had any problem throughout the weekend with the new evolution of the Honda engine premiered here.

Jenson Button commented, in addition, that are rolling with something more downforce than normal and, therefore, the second sector of their own choice. Jenson is confident in the performance of the car on long runs and, therefore, expect to achieve points in the race. “it is Not a secret that we are rolling with a bit more load
aerodynamic than others. Our consistency is good in the shootout
long. We’ll see, maybe tomorrow we have a career fair”.
