The rating for Williams has been found scenarios. The more negative, long, has been to the Felipe Massa. The brazilian driver has not been able to overcome the Q2, and will start tomorrow 10th place after the sanction of Nico Hülkenberg.
The brazilian driver showed his concern for the pressure values of the tyres delivered by Pirelli, aspect also criticized by Romain Grosjean, and which it considers may create false overtaking: “I Think that for the teams and the drivers is not good. Perhaps it is for the people, to see many overtaking, and people suffering with the tires. But it is false. It is not really as it needs to be. Of course, there will be much overtaking on the track for it. But will not be overtaking real, will be overtaking easy“.
Respect to their performance in classification itself, the brazilian said: “is Not the position you wanted to have. I’ve had a bit of bad luck with the red flag, but tomorrow in the race… you never know. We have to try that, and do the best we can. I have two sets of superblandos, and a new set of media; we need to choose the right strategy. We will see tomorrow, but I’m not very happy with my position.”
The picture is more favourable to Valtteri Bottas, that he left in a good place in the pavilion of Williams with a 5th position on the grid. The finn was satisfied for having fulfilled the ultimate goal of the team: “it Has been a good classification for me; and as a team, I think in fifth place was our maximum today. It has been great to do the lap on my second attempt in Q3, has been clearly my best lap of the weekend, so it is a great feeling”.
“it is Always great to finish the classification knowing that you get the maximum out of the car, and as a team I think we are in a good position for tomorrow.”
