Felipe Massa has announced a radical change in his life from the coming year, but the trend of the last few races has not been modified at all. The brazilian driver came back to meet up with mechanical problems that have prevented him from extracting the full potential of the Williams in a circuit a priori favorable as Monza.

“I could Not do a long run because we had small
problems today, one in the morning (turbo) and another in the afternoon (brake by wire). I Had some
problems with the sensors on the brake and, for safety, not shot.
Then we decided to change the sensors and it was good, but I just did three
laps at the end
. So, for me, has been somewhat more difficult.”

Felipe Massa announced yesterday his decision not to continue in Formula 1, but today has not felt different from the get in the car. The brazilian driver wants to focus to give the best of himself in the eight races left to try to stop Williams in the fourth position in the championship, ahead of a Force India team that is in a great moment of form.

“how difficult it was yesterday, so now I feel relaxed and
I think to do everything I can in the last eight races to
to be back in front of Force India until the end of the year
. Is the
aim to and try to do everything possible”.

Philip assures feel very satisfied with the decision, and thinks to enjoy what you have left in the championship, and go well with the head very high. “I feel very relaxed now, I just think at the latest
and careers and enjoy the moment, I’m relaxed and happy with my
decision”.

Valtteri Bottas had a better day, completely free of mechanical problems and with a good feeling, especially in race conditions. The Finnish driver was optimistic about the possibility of getting points in Monza.

“In general it was a good day, I think it’s going to be very tight here (at Monza), and the rhythm that we had in the long runs makes us believe that we will have a good weekend“.
