Sergio Perez and Nico Hülkenberg completed in ninth and tenth position in the second free practice session of the Spanish Grand Prix, just over a second and a half off the best time of Nico Rosberg and separated only by 16 thousandths of a second. A result that has satisfied the team angloindia in a circuit, which, a priori, not considered favourable, and in the who have released a new aerodynamic package that has received the approval of the mexican pilot.

“certainly, we have made good progress: you can feel that the car is much better, have gotten more support in the areas in which we needed it and the traction has improved, mainly in the curves of low and medium speed; obviously, you always want more, but I think we have taken a step forward remarkable because being on the top 10 in this track, which is the worst for us, it means a lot,” said Perez.

Sergio missed most of the first session of free as a result of an oil leak that forced the team to replace the radiator. Even so, the mexican believes that the points are at your fingertips and that, with more shooting, your car will be able to extract a greater potential.

“I Lost a lot of time in a time in which I needed to make progress with the car, but I am happy and I want to check how competitive we can be tomorrow in the classification; if we can go with some of the points means that we have taken a big step, and I think that these improvements have a large potential once all the pieces fit and find the right balance”.
