Grégoire Demoustier will compete with a Citroën C-Elysée in 2016. The French 24 year old has signed for the team Sébastien Loeb Racing for the next season of the WTCC, where it will form a pair with the already confirmed Mehdi Bennani. After making his debut in the championship with the Chevrolet RML Cruze TC1 of Craft Bamboo, the pilot’s natural Villeneuve-d’ascq will be a step forward in its aspirations within the contest. To date, his best result has been ninth-place finish garnered in the first round of Thailand. During his first season in the championship, scored five points.
Demoustier began her career in the Mitjet, although his role most notable came in the GT. After competing in several national categories, debuted at the international level in 2012, playing in the World of GT1. In this category reached several podiums next to Alvaro Parente at the wheel of a McLaren MP4-12C GT3. Also accumulated a number of successes in the Championship of France GT and the Blancpain Endurance Series, where it hoards two wins. In spite of this, Grégoire Demoustier gave a twist to his career in 2015, contesting the WTCC and adding even a podium within the Trophy in Yokohama Independent.

The frenchman also added: “Mehdi Bennani made it an excellent year. In my first year I learned a lot, but for my second season I have other goals. The ambition is greater and I hope to sign good results among Independents. I’m curious to know the behavior of the Citroën C-Elysée“.
