Hennessey is fixed on the Ford Focus RS: his goal, to reach 500 HP

With 350 HP, the new Ford Focus RS is one of the compact sports faster and more powerful on the market. Despite this, and high that it may seem his power, his engine 2.3 EcoBoost four-cylinder can still go further: it will tax preparers such as Hennessey Performance, which has already put their eyes on the model.

Hennessey it is well known for its preparations mechanical: there are few ‘muscle car‘ americans that do not pass through their hands, reaching figures of power very high thanks to profound modifications, not only a “simple” reprogramming electronics. And the forthcoming Ford Focus RS 2016 will do the same.

The first strengths begin to arrive to the Focus RS of the third generation. The 375 HP from Mountune can be a little conservative, but keep in mind that it will be a preparation semi-official -available in own car dealerships of Ford – which retains the factory warranty and the mechanical reliability.

For those who seek the limits of the 2.3 EcoBoost, Hennessey will have something to offer: the texans have been working in the Focus RS since last spring, and in the next few days will announce the availability of its preparation. For the moment only know these images from your account of Instagram, but very soon we will present the model in video, with all details.

Half a thousand horse: this will be the magic number. The Hennessey Ford Focus RS will reach the 500 HP thanks to a new electronic management and changes in turbocharger, intercooler, and intake, along with a new sports exhaust.

We have a new matagigantes to the view, making this advanced four-cylinder engine can rival even many of the supercars: we expect benefits that are superior to those of the model series (capable of reaching the 266 km/h and accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4,7 seconds), accompanied by a mechanical warranty of 12,000 miles or a year.
