With the Church we have come across! This is what they must have thought in
the World of Resistance, that have been forced to to move the date
in celebration of the prologue of the WEC by the official visit that is going to make His
Holiness Pope Francis to the city of Monza. In this way, and for reasons of
security, the official test of the Endurance World happens to be held between
the 1 and 2 April 2017, just two weeks before the celebration of the
6 Hours of Silverstone, the first event of the season in the WEC.
In the beginning, the official testing of the WEC was intended for
the days 24 and 25 march. However, the prologue of the Endurance World
it coincided with the visit of Pope Francis to the city of Monza. To avoid
any problems with logistics and security, has opted to delay
a week of this test,, a change which however does not affect the rest of the dates
the calendar of the ACO. In this way, the tests of the European Le Mans
Series (ELMS) remain scheduled for the 28th and 29th of march next year.
It should be recalled that the prologue of the WEC, was transferred from Paul
Ricard to Monza for the next season, every time that the path of Italian
it offers a configuration of track-suited to testing the kit aerodynamic
low load that are used in the 24 Hours of Le Mans by getting rid of the
variants of the first sector. In fact, Monza has been used in the past
years for Porsche or Audi to evaluate their LMP1, being next to MotorLand Aragon
and the Paul Ricard three of the scenarios most commonly used at the time of
test the prototypes of the category queen of the WEC.
