The long-anticipated editions of farewell to the Commodore have already been unveiled in Australia. These serve to to dismiss the local manufacturing of the version VF II on the Commodore and will be available in strictly limited edition only for Australia and New Zealand mostly, although there are other small markets where they have been offered to employees and managers of the firm.
As already mentioned at the time, the three editions are based on variants of the range Commodore, including the UTE and Calais V. Receive the name, respectively, of Motorsport Edition, Director and Magnum and in total will only be made to 1,450 units for Australia and 253 for New Zealand.
All versions feature the same engine, the block V8 LS3 that was already available in some versions of the Commodore, and it has 413 HP (340 kW) and 570 Nm of torque. This block receives no more modifications that a new cooling system compared to previous versions, so most of the novelties we will find in the frame and in the plane estético.

The Director pays homage to the classic version of the same name created by Peter Brock and account with the same suspension magnetic the Motorsport Edition, new air inlets, 20-inch wheels, front splitter and roof in black Phantoma Black. In the interior we find new seats and dashboard, and will only be manufactured a total of 360 vehicles, all with automatic transmission.

Magnum is the version based on the popular UTE, account with new rear suspension complete FE3 derived from the Commodore sedan, 20-inch wheels, new sports seats and dashboard and brake system is improved. In total, only will be manufactured 240 vehicles, available with manual gearbox or automatic.
