Honda already does not want more business with Takata

Honda prohibits the supply of airbags Takata for all their future models. The vehicle manufacturer has declared that the global level of any vehicle in Honda or Acura will be developed with aibags Takata seat front. The agreement between the two companies comes to an end.

Takata loses to Honda, its biggest customer so far

For a long time Takata has been a provider of airbas to many vehicle manufacturers such as Toyota, Nissan, BMW,… but until the time Honda has always been their biggest client.

Honda feels cheated by Takata and accused of having manipulated results of tests of its inflators with reports. “ As a result of our review of these documents, we’ve noticed evidence to suggest that Takata has been misrepresented and manipulated testing data for certain inflators of airbags ,” said Honda in a statement. “Honda expects its suppliers to act with integrity at all times and we are deeply concerned by this apparent behavior by one of our suppliers, ” he added.
