In-Competition: Jaguar presents their project for Formula E

As it was expected after the announcement of the withdrawal of the team of Jarno Trulli, Jaguar has confirmed this Tuesday at noon that will participate in Formula E starting with the season 2016-2017. The british brand, now owned by Tata Motors, will start from zero since it does not inherit the material of the failed project of “Trulli”, for which you will receive cars new, being provided for the first practice sessions for the upcoming spring.

For this new journey in the competition, Jaguar will not be alone, because, as already published Sky News last week will count with the collaboration of Williams Advanced Engineering, single-source supplier of batteries in the championship Alejandro Agag, and who has worked on the design of the Jaguar C-X75 hybrid. The team already has with the approval of the FIA.

Jaguar will participate with the engine itself the next season, way that Dragon Racing will also continue after you compete this year with engines-Venturi as confirmed today by the FIA. So, only Aguri and Andretti (pushed this team because of the failure of his engine in the preseason) will continue to remain unless new generic engine used since the start of the championship.
