McLaren-Honda enjoyed a 2015 to forget, with a performance of evil. Only time will tell if 2016 is a ‘déjà vu’ or, by contrast, is the year of the resurgence of the team, but for the moment things have not started with the right foot in Woking. In spite of this scheduled presentation of the new single seater of the team for this Sunday at around noon, the web ‘F1Fanatic.co.uk’ has revealed that they are in theory the first images of the McLaren MP4-31. Almost twelve hours prior to the event, prepared by McLaren, as we know the alleged new car of Fernando Alonso.
The McLaren MP4-31 filter presents a similar decoration to the one that was used from the Spanish Grand Prix of last season, held between days 8 and 10 of may. The car has a base in black with small details in red, which even seem to have decreased in relation to its predecessor. Perhaps the main novelty, though it was already known, is the arrival of the logos of two new sponsors of the team, Chandon and Richard Mille. Even so remains a palpable lack of a primary sponsor that looks like their logo on the bigger pontoons.
on A technical level, the McLaren MP4-31 seems to follow a line of continuity in relation to the previous car, especially in terms of chassis, although as is the case in some of the other cars presented, shows a few pontoons are wide and high. It seems that the signing of Woking has opted for the implementation of your particular interpretation of the S-Duct, to which you will have to add a bet more contained by the concept of ‘Size Zero’ for your engine. Will this be the McLaren MP4-31 final, or the team of Woking will surprise us in your presentation? In just a few hours we will leave doubts.
