Complete renovation, the premiered recently for the Kia Optima: this all-new saloon of medium size is already on sale in Spain, with a complete equipment and competitive prices that depart from the 21.704 euros. However, the range still has not been completed and, along with the Kia Optima Hybrid destined for the united States, soon to be released this Kia Optima Sportswagon.
The Kia Optima Sportswagon 2016 offers a practice body family, functional and full of space. Its main dimensions does not vary with respect to the four-door, keeping the 4,855 meters in length, 1,860 metres in width or a generous wheelbase of 2,805 metres. It increases very slightly in height, up to 1,470 meters.
the design of The Optima Sportswagon also hides the many similarities with the saloon and is directly inspired by the prototype Kia Sportspace Concept. As a good family, has tailgate and a boot which is still wider, from 553 liters of capacity. The rear seats can be folded in proportion 40:20:40, leaving a space still higher, ideal for loading very large objects or long.
The interior of the Optima Sportswagon offers a sober design that can’t deny a certain inspiration German, very accomplished visually and with a quality superior to the predecessor model. Among its enhancements will be available multimedia system with touch screen, up to 8 inches, wireless charging of devices, and compatibility with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
The range mechanics of the Kia Optima Sportswagon will be directly inherited from the saloon, and in Spain will market the diesel 1.7 CRDi 141 CV. It will be available with manual shift mode, and with the new automatic change of double clutch and seven speeds.
Culminating at the range, in certain european countries will be offered the Optima Sportswagon GT with a powerful engine 2.0 T-GDI 245 HP that uses the turbo and the direct injection. This finish GT boasts a suspension-adaptive-series in a diesel engine is optional-, with sport mode. In the future, will also come to the Sportswagon the hybrid engine and the hybrid enchufable.
