Lexus seems more than willing to give an end to the commercial stage of current LS. Its flagship will receive soon a profound renewal, both that have little to do with each other. This is shown by the Lexus LF-FC, a prototype that shows us the brand name in the Living in Tokyo and that prefigures a new and innovative generation of the luxury saloon japanese.
Their lines you will of something, and that is that it is a evolution of the current style Lexus. The brand, knowing that this segment is in need of a more sophisticated look and even sober, has evolved with new style keys as the marked front wheel. Continuing with the front, not missing the huge grill typical Lexus or beacons embedded in the body with the daylight in half an arrowhead.
The rear is, without a doubt, the most peculiar and novel in the set. Remember the new Toyota Prius, something that is not exactly good news. But Lexus has worked to innovate in a behind where stand huge drivers with a chrome frame which separates into two parts. There are No signs of leaks in sight, and that another of the reasons for its existence.
The interior leaves us with a mixture of classicism and futuristic technology that surprises you. The dashboard draws attention with undulating forms and a dashboard that is built in the form of a digital display. Everything is digital and Lexus has forgotten the fact that there are buttons. Take a look at that steering wheel, there are no signs of any buttons.
Yes systems infoentreteniento of last generation, in fact Lexus has fallen into the futuristic in this aspect. The dashboard has a huge screen that runs right to left, but more surprising will be the control of the same. There is a hologram in the center console that indicates that there is situated the control knob. Sure the gestures will play a key role.
The rear seats, two, are the soul of the Lexus LF-FC, a two-seater for maximum comfort separated by a central console that unites more touch controls. The wood and high quality materials are again a key element, especially wood that reaches to cover the back of the seats, doors, or a good part of the center console.
When Lexus was celebrating its 10-year hybrid told us that plug-in hybrids would not be your way to go. On the contrary the hydrogen, the fuel cell would be your option for the future, and what we found here today. The Lexus LF-FC debuts this new path of hydrogen through a system of awd. An electric motor moves the rear axle and the other two will be responsible of the front. We don’t know by now power data, performance, consumption or autonomy.
The Lexus LF-FC was presented these days in the Lounge of Tokyo and prefigures, as we mentioned, the new generation of the Lexus LS, its flagship. Its arrival to the market should be made in the coming months and maybe the end of the next 2016 as we have it in the dealerships.
