Sébastien Loeb completed in just a weeks two tests with the Citroën C3 WRC, one on asphalt and one on gravel. Even though they do need more miles to take it to the limit any car in competition, the French star already has at its head a general picture of the performance of the C3 WRC and the level you can reach. Perhaps for this reason, it is more remarkable to see as Sébastien Loeb doesn’t rule out his return to the WRC. Yes, it would be partially because the French has been suggested that as much would make one or two appearances in the next season, provided it does not clash with his commitments with Peugeot Sport.
In statements to the official website of the WRC after completing the test on gravel held in Girona, Sebastien Loeb explained the situation in which you will find in these moments and somehow slid what can be their intentions for the next season: “And ‘ m waiting to know if Peugeot Sport continues in the World of Rallycross. If they do, that will be my main program for the next year, always wishing to do so. From there, everything is possible and maybe there’s the option of driving the Citroën C3 in one or two rallies, although not what I will decide now”.
In relation to the own test with the Citroën C3 WRC, Loeb explained after analysing various settings of suspension and the differential to improve grip: “a long time Ago that I raced here a car rally on earth, so I’m happy to have the opportunity to try this new type of car. I hope that my experience will help Citroën to improve the car a bit. I did not know very well what to expect and at the end I found a car that was not too difficult to drive. The sensations were good, perhaps it is a bit more complicated in the fast corners when you lose grip, but the rest seems efficient”.
