Manhart Racing has always stood out for their sports preparations, giving a twist to some vehicles to improve their performance. His latest work is the Manhart MINI F300, a radical version of the small utility. Taking as a basis the more potent of the range, the MINI John Cooper Works, which adds a unique decor and a few important modifications at the mechanistic level.
Its exterior is notable for the painted body in the dark green British Racing Green, which contrasts to perfection with some details in golden color as the strip that runs along the vehicle, the mirrors or the 19-inch alloy wheels. The logos of the trainer will also be present, as the code F300 which gives its name to this peculiar vehicle. On the inside will continue to be the credentials and more exclusive equipment.
In the passenger compartment stands out for its quality, incorporating the Alcantara in various sites. With this material have been trimmed steering wheel and seats that are black with the seams in golden by contrast. But where more emphasis has made Manhart has been under the hood of the MINI. The turbocharged four-cylinder and 2.0-liter has been modified incorporating a new intercooler, reprogramming the ECU and a sport exhaust system made of stainless steel signed by Remus.
Thanks to these changes, manages to develop 300 HP and 469 Nm of torque, a considerable improvement taking into account that the MINI JCW series has 231 HP and 320 Nm. Although we still do not know their benefits, we imagine that will be easy to improve the 0-100 in 6.1 seconds and 246 km/h-tip that had reached the series. To cope with the increased power of the Manhart MINI F300 incorporates reinforcements of carbon-fiber and a suspension KW adjustable.
