Mercedes has just revealed a new variant of its popular Mercedes G-Class, specially prepared for the off-road. This is the Mercedes G 350 d Professional, probably the model that is more purist of the current range of off-road, the most faithful to the origins of the model of 1979. Previously, Mercedes has already marketed versions of this type as the G-Class 300 CDI Professional.
Aesthetically, this model is easily differentiated from the rest of the range for its marked appearance off-road. The alloy wheels and the front grill in matte black color are part of its essence, together with a suspension raised by 10 mm and the protective metal for the optical groups (optional). It is equipped with pneumatic All-terrain, and in this version, the ground clearance is 245mm. angles of attack and departure are 36 and 39 respectively, while the ventral is of 24th. The engine chosen for this version is the diesel V6 3.0-liter with 245 HP and 600 Nm of torque. With this mechanic, the Mercedes G 350 d Professional approves an average consumption of 9.9 liters per 100 kilometers. This model is associated to the gearbox seven-speed automatic 7G-Tronic Plus and an all-wheel drive system with low range and three differential with electric lock to 100%. The 0-100 km/h is completed in 8,8 interesting seconds, while the maximum speed is only 160 km/h. This mechanic allows the Mercedes G 350 d Professional with a loading capacity of 592 kilograms and the ability to tow up to 3,200 pounds.
On the inside no you are missing the most advanced equipments, despite the adventurous side of this Mercedes G 350 d Professional. The multifunction steering wheel is electrically adjustable, as are the front seats. The practical aspect is given some floor mats of rubber, which will prevent staining the carpet and offer easy cleaning after a hard session all-terrain.
Optionally, the Mercedes G 350 d Professional offers a front bumper steel with preparation for winch. Optionally, you can opt for the Pack Off-Road, which adds to the footpegs, tinted glass, the surface of rear loading of wood and the guards for the optical groups. The sales of the model will begin in September and in Germany the price of this version will be 79.968 euros.
