Mercedes has a number of improvements to its smaller roadster, the Mercedes SLK 2015 . The roadster with a retractable hardtop now offers more efficient engines, new transmissions and small developments in equipment, such as a new antenna LTE or two new gray shades for the body.
In the mechanical, 2.2-liter diesel engine from Mercedes SLK 250 d still delivers 204 horses, but now improves efficiency significantly. Homologa average 4.4 liters (0.4 less than before), resulting in CO2 emissions of 114 grams per kilometer in Spain they leave exempt from registration tax , so a reduction in price is expected.
The four-cylinder petrol engines receive a new injection and ignition system that improves performance and reduces consumption. The SLK 200 of 184 horses now delivers 300 Nm of torque, 30 more than before. The SLK 250 of 204 horses longer marketed and leads the new SLK 300 of 245 horses extracted from a block supercharged 2.0, which also delivers 370 Nm, 60 more than before.
The Mercedes SLK 200 receives a new manual gearbox six-speed, with more precise control, while the SLK 300 and SLK 250 d assembled in series gearbox nine-speed automatic which is optional on the access model. The new automatic transmission is a key to efficiency gains. All engines feature Stop & Start and meet Euro 6.
