On the occasion of the Laureus World Sports Awards , in which honors the best sportsmen in the world, Mercedes presented a special edition of SLS AMG GT3 . This supercar made for circuit has been created for make a profit to the association “Good Foundation” which belongs to Laureus Sports.
This vehicle is also the SLS AMG GT3 100th on leaving the factory. It was donated by a customer whose identity has not been revealed and the decor has been made for the occasion. This color painted background decorated with blue accents in places like tires or the spoiler, and includes the logos of Laureus.
The function of this vehicle will attend promotional events and charity events to try to get its full advantage for a good cause. The customer who has donated the car ( valued at 397,460 euros ) and the German automaker has also submitted a donation of 250,000 euros.
Although the SLS AMG GT3 will not step on any circuit, this model has a motor 6.3-liter V8 displacement. With an output of 571 horses and a multitude of elements that reduce their weight, safely exceeds 3.8 seconds it takes to do the 0-100 km / h the series model and its maximum speed 317 km / h.
