First victory for the Nissan Qashqai in 2017
sales of cars in the Dutch market have arrived in the summer with a smooth growth, rising just 5.2%, thanks to the 41.309 units registered. Although it maintains the positive trend is not a fact very striking if we take into account that the average growth of the first quarter has been of 16.8%. In the first six months of the year have been marketed 226.509 cars in the Netherlands.
The big winner has been the Nissan Qashqai, it has been placed in the top of the ranking of models despite the fact that may had not even managed to get into the Top 10. Without a doubt, the arrival of the restyling dealers has been the boost I needed to get this first post that is not signed in since march of 2016.
Volkswagen Golf is left with the second position, with the Opel Karl behind. The small utility of the brand ray has managed to increase its sales to a spectacular 150% with respect to June 2016 and are placed as the model of the German brand’s most popular, surpassing the Opel Astra.
The Opel Karl arrives at the podium
The car that most enrolments have been conquered in this first half of 2017 has been the Renault Clio, but this month has not been able to spend a modest seventh place finish with a demand that has dropped by 35%. Other models that have done a good role to have their nationality as a common denominator and are the Renault Megane (6th), the Peugeot 208 (8th), the Peugeot 3008 (12th) and the Renault Scénic (20th).
Among the manufacturers, Volkswagen remains in the first position with Renault coming on the heels of and Opel in a good third place. In the Top 10 of the ranking, there has only been a brand that has enrolled fewer new cars than in the same month of the previous year and has been Kia (-6%) dragged down by the low result of the Picanto.
