New Fiat 500 1.3 MultiJet: the diesel engine of 95 HP, which is already available

The Fiat 500 2015, is now available at all dealers of the Italian manufacturer, with a renewal that covers small cosmetic changes, most notable in the front thanks to its new bumpers and LED daytime running lights. Also their equipment has been expanded, now including the multimedia system UConnect with screen of five inches and a broad connectivity.

1.3 MultiJet will be the sole engine diesel that will be launched in the Fiat 500. Available only with manual change of five speeds, system Start & Stop series and finished Lounge, this engine 1.3 MultiJet II complies with the Euro 6 legislation and provides 95 HP to 3.750 rpm with a maximum torque of 200 Nm at 1500 revolutions per minute.

With direct injection of the third generation by using rail common to 1,600 bar and a turbocharger with variable geometry, the 500 1.3 MultiJet 95 CV is able to achieve the 180 km/h to maximum speed, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 10.7 seconds. Their efficiency is very remarkable, homologando an average consumption of just 3.4 liters/100 km and a CO2 emissions of 89 g/km.
