What we hoped for this year, but maybe not so soon: the new Subaru Impreza is very close to becoming official. His presentation will take place in the New York Hall of 2016, which begins this march 23. The new generation of the emblematic model japanese will be displayed with specifications for north America, although the european model -which will be presented later – will not change just with respect to what you will see there.
Will be in New York where it was displayed for the first time the production models, after a number of prototypes that we furthered their design: the Subaru Impreza Concept was present in the Hall of Tokyo 2015, ahead of the design that will have the bodywork of five doors. The Subaru Impreza Sedan Concept arrived almost simultaneously, taking advantage of the Salon Los Angeles 2015.
With respect to the prototypes prior to this, and having regard to the history of Subaru, we can predict that the final design of the Subaru Impreza 2017 dulcificará with regard to them, with differences up to a certain point marked in the production models. After the show its development through our spy photos, here we have a first image of advancement that shows part of your front, including the design of their optical.
Subaru Impreza Concept (2015)
On the whole, it seems that the nose and bumper will be more flattened than in the current. We will see a style that is more dynamic, through a convenient evolution of design that will open up a new era for the japanese manufacturer: the Subaru Impreza 2017 premiere of this new global platform of modular type, which offers greater structural rigidity, enabling a behavior more sporty, more passive safety… engines and hybrid or electric.
do Not rule out, therefore, a Subaru Impreza hybrid, although it will initially come with a new range of engines boxer more efficient thanks to the turbo. Permanent all-wheel Symmetrical All Wheel Drive will also be present in the new Impreza, as tradition: since its introduction in 1972 it has become a sign of identity, and in Subaru have already sold 15 million vehicles with traction Symmetrical AWD, becoming the world’s largest manufacturer of cars with four-wheel drive.
