Nico Müller change the DTM for the rallycross in Lohéac

The DTM has become with a certain frequency a source of pilots for the World Rallycross, especially if you look at the boxes which deals with Audi. With Mattias Ekström fighting for the title of both disciplines in recent years, some of their peers have followed their steps in a timely manner, or at least have been interested in the discipline. The latest addition to that list has been the closest companion of the pilot Swedish, any time Nico Müller will compete with one of the four Audi Quattro S1 EKS RX that the German mark and the team at Ekström aligned in Lohéac.

Although Nico Müller already performed a test with the Audi Quattro S1 EKS RX in Barcelona the result of a bet, the swiss debut in the World Rallycross in a movement in which much has had to see Audi France. Be that as it may, Müller will team well with Ekström with Reinis Nitiss and Toomas Heikkinen. In this regard, Nico Müller claimed: “I followed the World Rallycross since a long time ago and I really love their racing and their environment. Is a great challenge, but also poses a great opportunity. I want to enjoy everything I can, but I never travel just for fun and I am looking for a good result”.

In relation to the abovementioned test, the only previous experience of Nico Müller with the Audi Quattro S1 EKS RX, Audi driver in the DTM recalls: During a test of the DTM in 2016 I made a bet with Ekström. If I was the winner, I would give a test with the Audi S1, but if I lost I had to clean up a set of their tires. Lost and when in Barcelona I went to pay off my debt, I had to do well because it allowed me to get the car of Mattias for the first time. These cars are crazy and you get addicted. Since that day my dream has been to compete in a round of World RX, and now it will become a reality“.
