Nikita Mazepin will debut at the wheel of a Formula 1 test at Silverstone, which will be held at the track English the next days 12 and 13, just after the Grand Prix of Great Britain. This has been confirmed Force India, team of the young Russian man of 17 years is to pilot development since the month of February.
Mazepin currently competes with the team Hi-Tech Racing in the European Championship of Formula 3, in which it is currently not highlighting too much (with only a point, is ranked 20 out of the 21 participating pilots), and has accompanied Force India several major awards so far this season. At the same time, has begun an intense program of testing in the simulator for the team, at its headquarters in Silverstone.
The Russian has shown excited to what qualifies as the highlight of his still short career and is confident in carrying out a good job to justify the confidence that has put him in the team.

It’s only been a few months since I joined the team, but I think to be ready for this opportunity. Since he was announced as our pilot development, just a few months ago, Nikita has demonstrated a high level of technical knowledge added to his ability to fly. Their progress in our simulator have been excellent and, for him, be able to drive our car in these tests is the next step in its evolution within the computer.
