Nissan has been the manufacturer that has led the sales in Mexico 2016

On many occasions we have said that Mexico is one of the leading countries in terms of the sector of the car world. The volume of sales that it produced, is an indicator of how your economy and especially how to move their business to other countries such as the united States. On this occasion, and taking advantage of the Mexican Association of Distributors of Motor (AMDA) has published the data of sales throughout the year 2016, the country has been found which is located at a time (or at least it seems) more than good.

According to the AMDA, during the past year 2016 in Mexico were sold a total of 1.604.760 million new vehicles between passenger cars and suvs. This figure represents a record high for its economy and automobile sector, national so with respect to the past financial year 2015 total sales have increased by 18.7 percent. This data, in whole, is the first time that is reached from which there is sales data in Mexico and, according to the AMDA could be overcome in the year 2017 if the economy continues on its course, and the tensions with the united States relax.

meanwhile, the manufacturer that have the largest number of sales has closed during the past year has been Nissan. The japanese manufacturer has managed to sell a total of 402.055 new vehicles and has achieved a market share total of 25 percent. In second place is Chevrolet with 295.345 new units and closing the podium is Volkswagen with 206.040 new vehicles.

If we go on to consider what the best selling models in the aztec country, during the past year, 2016, Nissan returns to lead the ranking for, with your Versa has managed to enroll 79.296 units. In second and third place are two models of Chevrolet and are the Aveo and Spark that have managed to enroll 66.891 and 63.371 units respectively.

As a curious fact in this ranking is to be mentioned that Nissan manages to place among the top ten best selling models nothing less than five models. In addition, it calls powerfully the attention the Tsuru is the seventh best-selling model in the country despite his excessive expertise and no security measures.
