The 24 Hours of Nürburgring is a very different race and not only for the scenario in which you dispute. The ‘Green Hell’ and its more than 25 kilometres of rope to have enough nuances and peculiarities as to write a book. However, what is special about this test is that it gives place to a wide malgama of vehicles ranging from the GT3 -the kings of the race – to vehicles that just have a roll cage and extra elements of security as a differential factor regarding the car that you can buy at the dealership. Therefore, there are a thousand goals and dozens of winners different.
The GT3 will meet in the category 9. Although it is not entirely true, you can say that it is SP9 is the class in which the German brands to measure their egos. Mercedes-AMG aligns seven GT3 of the hand of the Black Falcon and HTP Motorsport, its two structures of trust. In one of them competes Dani Juncadella. For his part, Audi has six R8 LMS GT3 filled with official drivers with drivers from the likes of Marcel Fässler, René Rast, or Nico Müller. BMW is not far behind and will be on track nine M6 GT3 thanks to the work of four different structures. The stake of Porsche, Bentley, Lamborghini and Ferrari are much more discrete, although they may surprise you.
from here, the bet of the various manufacturers are very marked in the search of victory in a particular category. Aston Martin stake for the class SP8 with his Aston Martin WG8, although you will need to check with the Lexus and the newly introduced BMW M4 GT4. Porsche also makes a bet remarkable in SP7 and SP6 with the Porsche ‘butler’. The other great attraction is the class SP3T with various projects for brands such as Hyundai or Subaru, being especially curious that the presence of two Hyundai i30 N on a test competitive prior to their arrival in dealerships.
Within this array of cars and of the aspirations of each brand in the various categories, Spain also has a hole in the Nürburgring 24 Hours with the presence of the Seat Leon TCR and with the appearance of up to three riders. Dani Juncadella is the only one that has options of absolute victory to compete with the Mercedes-AMG GT3 #4 Black Falcon in SP9. Alex Toril is put at the controls of a Porsche 911 GT3 of category 7 on the same computer, while Carlos Arimón will be at the controls of a Porsche Cayman team Pixum Team in the class V5.
