Peugeot e-Kick is a kickboard electric that for many can be the ideal complement to the new Peugeot 3008. Many times we have seen concepts of urban mobility that supplement the car with other means of transport electrical and compact. Audi connected mobility was the concept that had the of Ingolstadt to depict this idea, something that Peugeot materialize this same 2016.
The Peugeot e-Kick has been jointly designed by Peugeot and Micro, a company specializing in this type of scooters or electric scooters. The e-Kick has a weight of 8.5 pounds, and its handlebars are foldable, which allows you to fold it to host it on the inside of the trunk of the Peugeot 3008. It has a lithium-ion battery that will allow a autonomy 12 miles and a top speed of 25 km/h. The electric motor is integrated in the rear wheel.
New Peugeot 3008
The batteries of the Peugeot e-Kick are loaded in approximately one hour. The recharge can be done in a domestic conventional or in the “dock station” specific to the new Peugeot 3008 can have in your trunk. In the case of charging the scooter in the car, the recharging takes place while we drive. There is a noticeable difference with the Audi connected mobility, and is that in the case of the Peugeot 3008, the navigation system does not take into account that combination of car-scooter is the fastest and most efficient way to get to our destination.
Peugeot will market the e-Kick at a price that we still don’t know this same 2016. It is anticipated that the brand offers the powered scooter separately or as an option at the time of the purchase of the new Peugeot 3008.
