Peugeot Expert 2016 comes fully renovated and making clear the commitment of the PSA Group by the commercial vehicles. The new van has been presented jointly with the Citroën Jumpy, with which it will share a large number of components. As you may imagine by its appearance, the new Expert is a commercial version of the Peugeot Traveller, who was more focused on the transport of passengers.
This van is built on the new modular platform EMP2. Offer a great versatility, allowing you to choose among up to three different lengths. Are the version Compact, which measures 4.6 metres, the version Standard with 4,95 meters and ends with the version Long that reaches to 5.3 metres. In this way account with up to 6.6 m3 of useful volume, in addition to a load capacity of 1,400 kg
The design we have already been able to observe that is the same which was the Traveller and which stands out for the new calender vertical in the raised position. Optionally in the Expert you will the Pack Look, that will add some elements painted in body color, LED illumination, and some joints in chrome. To show the practicality of the new platform, will be offered in various configurations.
In the first place, the new Peugeot Expert may be chosen in the form of van with the three lengths that we have mentioned and can accommodate 2 or 3 passengers. In the second place, it will be able to choose the double cabin, only in the two longer lengths and can carry up to 6 people. In third place we have the combi, also available in three lengths and can accommodate from 2 to 9 people in its interior. Finally, there is the chassis cab, that is offered with the long wheelbase of of 3.27 meters and allows for many possibilities of transformation.
Their range of motors is formed by two options diesel, there will be no mechanical gasoline. Is the 1.6 BlueHDI with powers of 95 and 115 HP. The least powerful comes with the manual gearbox five marches (5.5 l/100km) or with change driven ETG6 (5,2 l/100km), while the 115 HP equipped with Start&Stop, is linked to the manual change of six speeds and has a consumption of 5.1 l/100km.
The other engine is the 2.0 BlueHDI, which comes in three power levels: 120, 150 and 180 HP. All come with Start&Stop as standard and the two less potent are associated to a manual gearbox of six speeds and have a consumption of 5.3 l/100km. Version top of range only offers the change automatic EAT6 and approves a consumption of 6.1 l/100km.
The Peugeot Expert has been designed for the job and brings solutions to various tasks. Equip the side doors sliding hands-free, rear doors hinged or coating for the floor. In its interior will also feature numerous holes slides, and may add 49-liter engine in the panel van version and 121 litres in the double cab. All this without giving up the technology.
Because this van also includes a 7-inch touch screen with browser 3D and controls by voice. Add to that the services Peugeot Connect and safety at height systems such as the detector of driving time, control of dead angle or Visiopark. Optionally we will also be offering the Pack Safety which will include other elements such as alert of involuntary change of lane, or automatic switching of road lighting.
