Peugeot Sport has sold three units of the Peugeot 2008 DKR16 the team PH Sport, in what is understood to be the first step to replace the model that won the Dakar 2016 for a new buggy based on the 3008, just as we discussed a week ago. In this way, Peugeot Sport is able to keep on racing the buggy which allowed him to set the pace in the last Dakar and focus on the development of a new model, keeping the times to be able to compete with the current 2008 DKR16 in any event throughout the first half of the season.
According to published PH Sport on social networks, the Peugeot 2008 DKR16 will be available for rent starting September, coinciding with the penultimate round of the World Cup FIA Rally Cross-Country. It will be in the Rally of Morocco when you can see in competition, these three units as it is logical to be reviewed and updated by the technicians of PH Sport.
