Pirelli confirms the pilots to the test in wet Paul Ricard

Pirelli has confirmed the riders who will participate in the test of the rain tires that the Italian firm will perform during this Monday and Tuesday on the track French of Paul Ricard. In the tests that will take place both days between 9 am and 5 pm will be present Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Räikkönen on behalf of Ferrari, Daniel Ricciardo and Dannil Kvyat by Red Bull and Stoffel Vandoorne with the McLaren-Honda, being the belgian was the only rider present for part of the training of Woking.

Ferrari, Red Bull and McLaren were the three teams chosen by Pirelli in the face of these tests in Paul Ricard in the that are only to be used with the compounds of the rain of the Italian brand. The tests will take place with the cars of 2015 and will be the own Pirelli which mark the pace of work in the path French, testing various prototypes and compounds of tyres rain in the cars of the three teams present. The goal is to detect which compound is best suited for conditions of abundant water, conditions such as that experienced in the GP of the united States, in Austin.

Although the own McLaren confirmed that Stoffel Vandoorne would be his pilot in these tests, a few hours after the announcement of its celebration, not surprising, the decision of the british team in relation to Ferrari and Red Bull, who will appear in this test with its two pilots owners. The high rate of work in Woking with a good number of workers losing days of vacation to be able to work in the new car and the experience in the pre-season test with the accident of Fernando Alonso can be some of the reasons that have led to the team directed by Eric Boullier to take this decision.
