Porsche beat Toyota the prologue in Paul Ricard


Two days of test
in Paul Ricard have been served to the teams from the World Endurance
Championship start your preparation for the first appointment of the
season to mid-April: the 6 hours of Silverstone.

In LMP1, Brendon
Hartley scored the best time
in the morning, stopping the clock in
1:37.445 with the Porsche 919 Hybrid. For his part, Toyota premiered its
new TS050 to beat Audi, thanks to a fast lap of Kamui
Kobayashi in the afternoon
, leaving 1,082 seconds of Hartley and
improving by three tenths of a point to the better Audi, the R18 of Andre Lotterer.

Among the private,
the fastest were the Rebellion, while in LMP2, the Oreca
G-Drive beat by seven-tenths of the Manor
, with the Alpine
Signatech in third position.


Between the GT, the
duel of the stars is produced in the PRO category, in which Ford
recovered from the first day to beat the Ferrari with a best lap
1:58.786 by Andy Priaulx
with three-tenths of a margin. In
the amateur category, the Porsche driven by Adam Carroll took
the honour of leading the table by only a thousandth of a margin.

The test was a success
of the public, with thousands of attendees to the circuit that could
enjoy a day especially for the fans.
