Porsche has sold nearly 225,000 cars in 2015 (and yes, a large part of the success is thanks to the SUV)

2015 not only has it been a good year of products in Porsche, with models, radicals such as Porsche Cayman GT4, Porsche Boxster Spyder or the Porsche 911 GT3 RS or the arrival of the turbo to the Carrera range, and Race 4, 2015, it has also been a great year of sales for the firm German a year in which the brand has grown, with regard to 2014, almost 20%.

The success of the SUV of Porsche is resounding. Of the nearly 225,000 Porsche sold more than 150,000 were SUV’s.

In 2015, Porsche sold a total of 225.121 units, a figure that represents a 19% higher sales with respect to a 2014 in which is marketed 189.849 cars of the firm.

A year more it becomes clear the success of the SUV of the brand and in front of 32,000 Porsche 911, we find a total of 80,000 Porsche Macan while Porsche Cayenne closed the year with 73.119 units.

By markets, we find the fundamental role of China, with 58,000 units sold, and united States, with nearly 52,000 units. Europe recorded a total of 75.354 units, nearly 29,000 of them purchased in Germany.
