All brands want their autonomous car and all are willing to do so due to the great competition that is beginning to emerge. Recently we set out to Ford began testing its autonomous car and now comes the rumor that could have gone a step further.
According to sources close to Google and Ford, two companies might have come to a agreement for the joint development of an autonomous vehicle and the official announcement would be planned for the upcoming CES held in Las Vegas next month.
is Not very farfetched to this rumor because Google said a few months ago did not have in mind to carry out your car to production but, after completing the development of the same, you would find some partner to bring their technology to the roads.
Ford seems to have been the lucky one, and both benefit equally since Google owns possibly the most advanced software of the time focused on this field with many kilometres in testing, and Ford would bring his experience as the centennial in the automotive sector.
As background to this possible pact to say that the current leader of the project Google Self-Driving Car, John Krafcik, he worked for 14 years at Ford, and this year joined the project as another of the heavy weights of Ford, Alan Mulally.
The CES in Las Vegas is celebrated between the days 6 and January 9 next year.
