Kimi Räikkönen had a very full day in Barcelona. The Ferrari driver finished with the best time after setting a time of 1:22.765, the best record was registered during the seven day test at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. In addition, the finn scored 136 times and 693 kilometres with the single-seater, tested up to five distinct compounds of tyres and during the first hour of the morning was able to evaluate the halo proposed by Ferrari. The system of protection of the cockpit lasted just two laps in the SF16-H, but Räikkönen showed no major complaints about the visibility that it can subtract this device.
While Sebastian Vettel also tested briefly to the halo during the final day of test to compare the sensations picked up by his teammate, Kimi Räikkönen has closed his work in the path of Montmeló: “Was one of the best days of test., we Could have run without a single stop, except for the moments with the red flag on the track. Maybe you could have been faster on a few laps, but in general the feeling has been good and I’m more or less happy with the way things are going”.
