Dunlop returns to LMP1. The signature of tyres with more
victories in the 24 Hours of Le Mans will return to fit a prototype of the
category queen of the World of Resistance after reaching an agreement with
Rebellion Racing. The swiss team will mount so the Dunlop tyres in the two
Rebellion R-One LMP1-L that will be competing in the WEC in 2016. With identical
payroll of pilots and the ‘signing’ of Dunlop, the structure is not only expected to
get his fifth consecutive title in the category private teams
but to be one step closer to the prototypes from the factory.
The last time Dunlop had a presence in LMP1 was in 2012 when you mounted your tires on the Pescarolo 01 OAK Racing.
