Renault Spain did yesterday, the delivery of the IV Awards for Best Practice in Sustainable Mobility. This event which is into its fourth edition, in which you have presented more than 30 projects in three different categories. Counted with the presence of Isabel García Tejerina, Minister of Agriculture, Food and Environment, Ivan Segal, director general of Renault Iberia and president of the Foundation Renault Mobility and Sustainable José Longás, president of the Club of Excellence in Sustainability.
In the category a Great Company, the award went to BBVA for its “Plan on Urban Mobility Ciudad BBVA”. This complex stands out by encouraging the public transport or to rationalize the private actions such as ‘car sharing’ or a parking garage in which you can assign the squares using an app. The City BBVA account with 251.000 square meters and the buildings that are equipped with sustainable materials and high efficiency.
The winner in the category of Public Administration was the city Hall of Sant Cugat del Vallès “Plan of Displacement of Business”. The city council has made an improvement in their communications and adapts to the rules which obliges the centers of more than 200 workers to have this type of program. What makes remarkably, with an up-to-date network of public transport, hybrid and electric vehicles, and encouraging the use of the bicycle.
The third and final award, in the category of Smes/Entrepreneurs was going to Koiki. With your project “Koiki, the delivery by persons close to you” seeking a messaging sustainable, avoiding the environmental problems of this type of distribution. The three prize winners will be the assignment for a year of a Renault Twizy, the quadricycle 100% power of the brand that is produced in the factory in Valladolid.
