Renault-Nissan sold 10.4% more in the first half of the year 2017

From the Renault-Nissan Alliance acquired Mitsubishi Motors things have changed in the group franco-japanese. The incorporation (very soon) of the signing of the three diamonds has been increasing the volume of global sales of the Alliance. This situation helps make it one of the three candidates (along with the Volkswagen group and Toyota Motor Corporation) to hold the throne of group sold worldwide.

The first half of the year has already past and the signatures are presenting the main data. As announced by the Renault-Nissan Alliance during the first six months of the year, have sold a total 1.88 million cars. This figure represents a growth compared with the same period of the previous year by 10.4 percent. All in all, the share of the market, worldwide, that has the conglomerate franco japanese is 4.1 percent (incorporating the operations of Lada).

As stated by Thierry Koskas, a member of the executive committee and commercial director of the Renault Group

we have set a new record with over 1.88 million vehicles sold in a given semester” […] “our strategy of renewal of the range and geographic expansion continues to bear its fruits”

Within the Alliance of all the brands that are have seen their sales experienced growths from one to two digits. The signature that greater growth has experienced is Nissan followed by Renault and Dacia. Within these, there are also differences, because if we talk about electric vehicles, has not been the Nissan Leaf, the most sold, but the Renault Zoe.

in Addition, sales have been very good in all regions where they are present, as in none of the areas have seen their sales go down. Europe has had a behavior more than good, providing a market share of 10.8 per cent to the Alliance. In areas of Africa-East and Middle-India, the conglomerate’s operations have grown to achieve a market share of 6.4 percent.

The rest of geographical areas have also been prone to the results of the Alliance. America is one of them and the future of their plans will be of vital importance. Will have to see as the year ends to see if it achieves the scepter of the group that is most sold in the world and if their profits are related to this fact.
