Renault will supply engines to Red Bull in 2016, but the call to TAG Heuer

The Renault engines will continue giving life to the cars of Red Bull Racing, but under the brand TAG Heuer. RBR adopted this decision after failing to get engines Ferrari, Mercedes and Honda.

however, after the announcement of the return of Renault to Formula 1 as official team from the beginning of next season, the French brand announced that the engines supplied to Red Bull, will carry the brand TAG Heuer. The announcement came after RBR to fail in trying to get that Ferrari, Mercedes and even Honda will provide motors for the next season.

After the agreement, the race car for 2016 has been dubbed as Red Bull Racing-Tag Heuer RB12. The brand of watches, for its part, renewed its presence in the highest category giving its name to a propellant, such as a timely occurrence with McLaren in the 1980s, when the team british used Porsche engines that used the brand watches among the seasons ’83 and ’87.

despite the wear and tear in the relationship between Red Bull and Renault during the past few months, Infiniti, that is one of the brands of the Renault-Nissan alliance, is going to continue as a sponsor team RBR.
