Honda Racing has confirmed to Renger Van der Zande as your pilot for the FIA GT World Cup just a few hours after announcing his program in the event held in the former Portuguese colony of Macau. With considerable experience in the Circuito da Guia, the pilot Dutch will be at the controls of the Honda NSX GT3 in the first appearance of the vehicle away from the united States and without the logo of Acura. At 31 years, the pilot faces a new challenge from the hand of JAS Motorsport in a scenario in which he has competed previously as an official driver of the Mercedes.
To its program with the Honda NSX GT3, which has begun this week with a test at Monza, Renger Van der Zande has explained: “I’ve shared the track with the Honda NSX GT3 at the IMSA WeaterTeh SportsCar Championship this year, and I’ve realized how awesome that looks. to be Able to drive the car of Honda in Macau is an amazing opportunity for me. JAS Motorsport will be the structure in charge of putting in competition this Honda NSX GT3.
