Robert Kubica will compete in the Rally of Monte carlo. Despite not having a sports program committed to the WRC for face-to 2016, the ex-pilot of Formula 1 will be present in the appointment opening of the championship at the wheel of a Ford Fiesta RS WRC private the same car from M-Sport which will use Bryan Bouffier to contest a rally with great memories for the French, since that was second in 2014. The incorporation of these two pilots closed unless last-minute surprises the payroll in 14 World Rally Car. Not bad for the first event of the year.
Without official support, and with the premise of not having a project is private, large with a budget excessive, Robert Kubica is still considering several possibilities for its future. The Polish pilot has the intention to combine the World of Rallies with the DTM or other category of circuits, but what is certain is that time has not announced any plan in the firm. For his part, Bryan Bouffier will play the Monte carlo Rally for the seventh time -fifth in the WRC – and will seek to give the surprise. In addition to the second place achieved in 2014, also won the Rally of Monte-carlo in 2011, when it belonged to the IRC.
With the three drivers of Volkswagen Motorsport, the three of
Hyundai, the two private pilots of the team Abu Dhabi Total WRT and the
incorporation of Kubica and Bouffier, in addition to the theoretical presence of M-Sport with
their two official riders, Lorenzo Bertelli and Ott Tanak (DMACK), the Rally of
Monte carlo features a large competitiveness among the World Rally Car. To that
add the 15 vehicles of the category WRC2 and the 10 cars in WRC3
should be in the output according to the first estimates, and leaks.
The official list of entries will be published in the near future.
