Nico Rosberg completed the full first positions in the free practice of the GP of Japan, after taking third ahead of the australian Daniel Ricciardo. The German aprovecchó the ‘absence’ of Lewis Hamilton, whose best time is not allowed to pass the seventh time.
After the rain that fell during the night of Friday to Saturday, all the drivers came out with more caution, if possible, to the third-party free. However, the session was held in dry conditions completely, although with the asphalt much cooler than desirable.
After Rosberg and Ricciardo, Sebastian Vettel and Max Verstappen virtually nailed the time, with the Dutch ahead of the German but both with the same positions in 1:32.
At McLaren were about to finish in the ‘top 10’, but at the last moment and practically on the banderazo pictures, Fernando Alonso saw how he relegaban to the 11th place. Worse were the things to Carlos Sainz, or even rolled by problems in the battery of his Toro Rosso.
