Sales August 2016, Chile: Hyundai leads the ranking

For the fourth consecutive month the sales of new cars grow in Chile. In August, marketed 24.544 units, 0.7% more than in the same month of the previous year.

By the fourth straight month the sales of cars grew in the chilean market, with a growth of the to 0.7% in relation to the same month of the previous year, with a total of 24.544 units marketed.

In the first nine months of the year sales of new cars rise 5.7% compared to the previous year, totalling 187.219 vehicles.

with Respect to the trademarks, this time Kia has assigned the first place to Hyundai, which is now the new leader with a total of 2.982 sales (+ 23,8%), followed by slim margin by Kia, which stands in second place with 2.668 units (+11,0%).

The third position was for Chevrolet with 2.553 vehicles (-6,6%), followed by Suzuki with 2.131 units (8.2 percent) and Nissan with 1.712 (-9,3%).
