Sales car: Italy – May 2016: The Fiat 500L has achieved the silver

More than a year after the Fiat 500L achieved the silver

car sales in Italy have lived in a total rampage during may: enrolments have risen to nothing less than a fantastic 27,6% until the 188.980 units. This month follows the path that we are seeing throughout the year, where the growth is 20.9% adding a total of 884.000 cars marketed.

The seven models most sold in may achieved significant growth compared with the same month of the previous year, with the only exception of the Fiat Punto. The popular Spot has seen its demand has been slowed by 7% in relation to may 2015 due to his veteran status, though, despite this, has managed to get into the Top 5.

The Renault Clio improves their sales by 45% and helps the French brand to grow significantly

In regards to the manufacturers, Fiat maintains its untouchable hegemony to grow more than the market (+34%). The surprise of the da Renault because the brand name gala has been placed in a brilliant second place and improves their data in an amazing 72%! Its growth is based on the good results of the Clio, Capture, Kadjar, Twingo and Mégane.

Volkswagen keeps his place on the podium but can’t be neglected, Ford has become very close to. Seat (25) is one of the few brands that lost ground (-8%). In the lower part of the table Infiniti impresses with a spectacular rise at 1,365% thanks to the arrival of the new Q30.
