The Tesla Model X is already at the level of sales of the Model S

new registrations of cars in Norway have had a good summer with the best month of August of this century in terms of volume of sales. In total we have marketed 13.232 units, which implies a rise of 5.0% compared with the same month of the previous year. In the annual accumulated have reached the 102.021 units (+2.8%) and if this pace continues and the forecasts suggest that 2016 will be the best year of sales since 1986.

The reign of Volkswagen Golf has no end, but this time has seen it cut its margin compared to its competitors since their demand has decreased 15% in comparison with August of 2015. The compact German begins to notice a certain experience and expect a facelift in the next Paris Salon 2016.

The second position has been for a surprising Toyota RAV4, which has increased their sales a fantastic 134% driven by its long-awaited version RAV4 Hybrid. Versions electrified play a key role in this market and, in fact, the six most popular models have at least one variant hybrid, PHEV or 100% electric.

silver Medal for the Toyota RAV4

One of the more interesting data we find him outside the Top 10. It is the magnificent performance of the Tesla Model X, which in its second month in showrooms has already achieved a brilliant 15th position. In this way, the new model of the american brand virtually tied with the star model, the Tesla Model S.

In terms of manufacturers, Volkswagen (+5%) remains in first place but you can not mislead you because the marks that come from behind are showing great growth. Toyota (+25%) and BMW (+20%) they get on the podium while Mercedes (+34%) and Audi (+47%) round out the Top 5.
