Sales march 2016, Spain: Slight decline, but the SEAT Leon continues to the front

The Spanish market continues at full throttle, although the last month of march and in part due to the lower number of business days, it did make the registrations closed with a slight decline. Even so, it has been the best first quarter in the last six years.

SEAT-Leon-3Las sales of cars in Spain closed the last month of march with negative numbers, then nothing less than 30 months of continuous growth. with Respect to the ranking of brands, Opel has been the one that led the market with a total of 9.299 units delivered to new owners, Peugeot achieves the second position, and Volkswagen completes the podium with the third position. Among the brands with figures in positive stressed Smart with an increase of eur 111.1%, Jaguar (+103,1%), Abarth (+66,7%), Suzuki (+63.4 per Cent), SsangYong (+52,6%) and Jeep (+43,5%).

on the contrary, some brands with poor results in march have been Ferrari with a fall of 72.7% as, Lancia (-67,4%), Infiniti (-41,9%) and Porsche (-23,6%).

In terms of models has been the SEAT Leon who returns to lead the ranking, a position that does not leave for five months. The second position was for the SEAT Ibiza, while the Opel Corsa managed to be placed in the third position.
