With a growth of 13.6% compared to the same month of the previous year, registrations in Spain have already exceeded one million units in it 2017. Renault leads between the manufacturers, although the SEAT is about silently.
Las new car sales in the Spanish market are going through an excellent period and during the past month of October enrolments experienced a growth of 13.6% compared with the same month of the previous year.
A total of 95.132 units were handed over to new owners, with a yearly accumulated has already reached the 1.033.293 units, a figure that indicates a growth of 7.3% compared to the previous year.
In regards to the manufacturers, Renault has managed to stay in the first position, while SEAT is left with the second position, and Volkswagen with the last step of the podium.
Among the brands that enjoyed positive results in October, we find Renault, with a growth of 46.3 per cent, Suzuki (+42,9%), Jeep (+36,1%) ,SEAT (+35,8%) and Volkswagen (+14%) while, on the contrary, among some of the brands with negative figures were Honda (-16,9%), Volvo (-15,9%) and BMW (-7,7%).

In terms of models, once more the SEAT leon manages to clinch the first position, returning to the top of the rankings after four months of absence.
The Second place was for the Renault Clio, which, together with the Mégane and Capture, allows the French firm placing three of its models within the 10 most sold in Spain. In the third position we find the Volkswagen Golf, while the fourth was left for the SEAT Ibiza.
With respect to the SUVs, the domain of the Nissan Qashqai begins to be threatened with the arrival of the SEAT Ateca and in the past month of October just a few units separated the crossover of japanese of the new off-road SEAT.
