If you want to change your car and you’re interested in the market second-hand, you know that tomorrow opens its doors Salon of the Vehicle of Occasion in Madrid. The days between 27 may and 5 June, the Ifema exhibition centre in Madrid will host one of the fairs of second-hand cars most important in Spain. More than 5,000 vehicles will be on sale during the ten days of the Salon of the Vehicle of Occasion in Madrid.
In this 20th edition, the Salon of the Car of the Occasion will be bigger. Will be busy the halls 1, 2, 3, 4 ,5 and 6 of the Ifema, with two pavilions, more than last year which give the cabin to a remarkable amount of additional cars. This year there will be 90 companies represented, with 57 exhibitors and vehicles of 32 brands. There will be passenger cars, vans and commercial vehicles. In addition to own brands, there will also be companies renting selling cars, as well as companies in the financial sector, insurance and spare parts to be able to complete all processes of the purchase without leaving the fair.
In the last edition of 2015, there was in the Room of the Vehicle on the Occasion of the Madrid nothing less than 55 exhibitors. Were 46.928 the people who visited the fair in search of a second hand car and 1 of every 12 purchased vehicle in the show or started the paperwork for it with the selling company. In total were sold 3.771 cars, 72% of those exposed, with an average price of 15.892 euros. This year is the expected 50,000 visitors and the sale of 4,500 vehicles.
One of the advantages of this exhibition is that all the vehicles exhibited are reviewed, both before the fair and during the same, when new cars arrive to fill the gap of those that have been sold. The company TÜV SÜD ATISAE is the one that takes into account that all vehicles comply with safety standards, mechanical reliability, and aesthetics. We review slack, the braking system, leaks of liquids and the condition of the tires and the suspensions, in addition to the outside. Technicians also analyze if the cars have suffered any blow to structural or have been the subject of any weld repair, and may refuse access to the fair to these vehicles.
This year there will be novelties, such as the Area’s Eco pavilion 4, where are shown the different ecological models of the participating brands. There will also be a track demonstration of driving aids, where attendees will be able to check the operation of systems such as the parking assistant.
The hours of the Salon of the Vehicle of Occasion will be uninterrupted from 11:00 to 21:00 from tomorrow, may 27 until Sunday June 5. The general price of the input will be 5 euros, remains free of charge for children under 12 years.
