Sauber denies that Pascal Wehrlein suffer an injury in the neck


this year’s edition of the Race of Champions, held on 21 and 22 January, was in the news, beyond the (competitive, for the spectacular accident that Pascal Wehrlein suffered during one of the duels in the single table. Today, the average German Auto Motor und Sport (AMuS) has reported that Wehrlein would have suffered a neck injury as a result of the incident, and that the Mercedes driver, who this season will race for Sauber, remains the subject of different medical tests on the injury, so that his presence in the tests in Barcelona could be in danger. The information notes that the doctors who treat the German pilot will decide next week whether or not to give the okay to compete, and that in the opposite case, you might have missed the first tests of the season at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.

With this information, Sauber has been manifested to counteract in part to AMuS. Through its Twitter account, the swiss team has announced that “the medical examinations are still in process. Therefore, the information is pure speculation. Give you information in due time”.
