Sebastien Buemi victorious in the first ePrix of Marrakech

Sébastien Buemi has won the first edition of the
ePrix of Marrakech
and remains the only rider that has jumped more
top of the podium in the ‘Season Three’ after winning the first two tests of the
calendar. In a weekend in which the Formula And have shot faster
the TC1 WTCC to a back and with a similar pace during the race,
podium has been completed by Sam Bird and Felix Rosenqvist
. Remarkable comeback
also Lucas di Grassi to finish in the fifth position, despite its
negative rating.

Felix Rosenqvist was asserting its pole to be placed in
first position
in the first angle, of the always complex circuit
Marrakech. On an output quite clean, Bird, Piquet, Vergne and Abt got
to maintain acquired positions in the Superpole, any time you Sébastien
Buemi was penalised five positions on the grid
by an irregularity in the weight of
his car. All in all, the battle moved to the positions in the rear all
while Oliver Turvey, exceeded that of António Félix Da Costa. For its part,
Sébastien Buemi, exceeded that of Nico Prost, while Lucas Di Grassi climbed up
up to the tenth position.

The battle between Heidfeld, Engel and Frijns staged the first laps in an ePrix started to change colour, when Sébastien Buemi ahead of Daniel Abt in the first glimpses of what the dessert would be a great comeback. In the wake of its companion box, Nico Prost also exceeded that of Abt, while behind António Félix Da Costa had to withdraw with mechanical problems in his car. This mishap caused the first yellow flag of the race, although Sébastien Buemi managed to avoid it to overtake Nelson Piquet Jr. for the fourth position.

Sébastien Buemi was launched to hunt down Jean-Eric Vergne,
completely focused on his particular battle with Sam Bird for the second
position. Although the French rider managed to overcome the pilot of DS Virgin,
this battle between Vergne and Bird allowed Buemi to get to both in just two
laps. Lucas di Grassi for his part managed to climb a position more to coast
a great maneuver about Oliver Turvey. This overtaking was the appetizer
perfect of the first pit stops to change of car. The leader Rosenqvist,
Vergne and Piquet Jr. they were the first to go through the pitlane

The dancing stops and changes of car allowed
Sébastien Buemi beat Sam Bird for the third position
, while Felix
Rosenqvist was held back by its leadership. Behind the top four,
Nico Prost held the fifth position ahead of Daniel Abt, Oliver Turvey
and Lucas Di Grassi. No major changes between the first ten classified,
the race was going to be decided on the track
in a battle which in the first term is
turned into a duel of quick laps between the drivers head. A duel
directly between the single-seater of Mahindra and the Renault Z. E. 16 of Vergne and Buemi

however, this battle he jumped through the air by the Drive Through received by Jean-Eric Vergne to overcome the speed in the pitlane. With the French rider out of the equation, Sébastien Buemi is hugged by Felix Rosenqvist with a knife and in just a few laps I got to trim all the advantage of the leader and poleman of the ePrix of Marrakech. With less difficulty than you might expect, Sébastien Buemi ahead in full straight Rosenqvist, and was with the leadership to sign his second victory of the season and eighth in the Formula E.

Sam Bird also ahead of Felix Rosenqvist in the last instance by the second position,
completing both the podium in Marrakech, despite the pressure of Nico
Prost, who finally crossed the finish line in fourth position. The fifth place was for Lucas Di Grassi after a great comeback born to outpace teammate Daniel Abt. Away from the two pilots of ABT Schaeffler Audi, britain’s Oliver Turvey was seventh,
just ahead of Jean Eric-Vergne who saw it as the great
speed of the car Techeetah not crystallized into anything positive
during the ePrix of Marrakech.

The area of points was completed Nick Heidfeld with
the second car of the team Mahindra and by José María ‘Pechito’ Lopez,
added so his first point in Formula E. A booty that seems to be enough
scarce seeing the second post joined by his team mate Sam Bird. adaptation
the three-time champion of the WTCC is being slow
and although in Marrakech was the
only pilot with previous experience on this track, this advantage is not finished
