SsangYong also delves into the world of mechanical alternatives and announces that it is currently testing a mechanical power extended autonomy which by now have been riding in the latest addition of the brand, a SsangYong Tivoli who have been baptized as SsangYong Tivoli EVR.
The current range of the SsangYong Tivoli passes through a gas of 128 hp and a diesel of 115 hp. In addition there is a moving version by LPG. Its starting price is 14,900 each euro
This SsangYong Tivoli has a mechanical power of 80kW, 108 horses, which comes in tune with a few batteries of 25kWh and a gasoline engine single cylinder of 325cc which acts as a range extender.
With this set, the Tivoli would achieve a maximum autonomy of 400 km, with 125 km of autonomy in electric-only, reaching a maximum speed of 150 km/h.
The Korean company has taken advantage of the Korean Institute of Automotive Technology, the KATECH, who works under the supervision of the government, to develop this technology.
